What do you need

  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil (more or less, enough to get a consistency of the bath)

Shakshuka with feta cheese

Shakshuka is prepared according to taste and depending on what vegetables and spices you have in the kitchen. So, you can use the steps below to guide you, but we invite you to add a personal note to the recipe.


4-5 tablespoons olive oil

1 & frac12 white onion, finely chopped

4-5 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

1 & frac12 tablespoon harissa sauce (or hot pepper paste)

& frac12 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon hot pepper flakes

2 tablespoons tomato sauce

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 cane cheese made, crushed

A handful of fresh, finely chopped parsley


Heat the oil in a large pan. Cook the onion with salt for about 5-7 minutes. Add the thyme, cumin, hot pepper sauce, pepper flakes, a little salt and pepper. Cook everything for another 2 minutes. Add the tomato juice, canned tomatoes and sugar and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce begins to thicken. Taste and add spices if you feel the need.

Using a spoon, make 8 & ldquogauri & rdquo in the sauce and break the eggs. Leave them on the fire until the egg whites are cooked, about 10 minutes. You can speed up the cooking by putting a lid on the pan.

It is made with thin sheets of pie, in which the filling will run. It can be of many kinds, such as: minced meat, spinach, potatoes or cheese. In this recipe I will present the version with feta cheese.


• 400 grams of flour
• 3 grams of dry yeast
• 200 grams of pitted and sliced ​​Kalamta olives, drained well
• 200 grams of feta cheese, cut into cubes
• 1 tablespoon dried oregano
• 375 ml of cold water

Unbreaded bread with olives and feta is a Greek-inspired recipe that can be enjoyed as such or with a hot soup or stew.

How to prepare bread without kneading with olives and feta cheese

1. In a bowl, mix the flour, oregano and yeast.

2. Dry the olives and feta cheese with a kitchen towel. They are added over the flour mixture and incorporated until they are covered with flour.

3. Slowly pour the water and mix with a spatula until the flour is no longer visible.

4. Cover the bowl with cling film and then with a kitchen towel. The bowl is left in place without drafts for a minimum of 12 hours and a maximum of 18 hours.

5. After the rest period, the dough should be transferred to a larger bowl well greased with oil and lined with flour. Cover again with plastic wrap and kitchen towel and leave to rise again for at least 2 hours.

6. Approximately 30 minutes before baking, preheat the oven to 245 degrees Celsius and place a cast iron pot (suitable for the dough to be baked) or a pot that can be used at high temperatures in the middle of the oven. and let it heat for 30 minutes.

7. Carefully remove the pot from the oven and line it with a baking sheet. The bread dough with olives and feta cheese is transferred to the pot and covered with a lid. Bake the bread for 30 minutes on the middle shelf of the oven.

8. After 30 minutes, remove the lid and bake the bread for another 15 to 20 minutes.

9. Remove the bread with olives and feta from the bowl and leave to cool for 30 minutes before cutting.

Shrimp And Bread With Feta

1. For the bread, mix all the ingredients except the oil and cheese in a large bowl. 4. Add hot peppers and garlic and cook for another minute. Add garam masala, turmeric, ground coriander, paprika and 3 tablespoons water. Put the tomatoes and cook until they are sweet and soft, then add the spinach. Add shrimp, lemon juice, peel and coriander and season after. Pour into bowls and serve with warm bread.

Wholemeal bread with spelled flour

Mix the two types of flour, add salt, crumble the yeast. Pour the water and start mixing. Knead the dough until it becomes elastic and no longer sticks to your hands. Put it in a clean bowl, cover with a towel and leave to rise for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Pour the dough on the work table sprinkled with flour, divide it in two and shape two round loaves. You grow them and put them in a lined tray. Let them rise again for 20-30 minutes.

Bake them in the preheated oven over medium heat until nicely browned.

Crush the tomatoes and cheese with a spoon and mix until a creamy sauce is obtained. Add the fresh basil leaves and mix everything.

The pasta is boiled according to the instructions on the package. When cooked, the pasta is added over the sauce and mixed well to incorporate all the flavors.
